KI Bundesverband – Germany’s largest AI network

The Akademie für Künstliche Intelligenz AKI gGmbH is a full subsidiary of the KI Bundesverband (German AI Association). KI Bundesverband e.V. is the representative, network and voice of AI companies in Germany. It supports more than 350 innovative SMEs, start-ups and entrepreneurs by representing their interests in politics, business and the media. In a variety of regional and working groups, as well as in exchange with other European AI associations, the KI Bundesverband advocates for a successful and sustainable AI ecosystem based on European and democratic values.

Visibility, networks and internationalization

Within OpenGPT-X, AKI is responsible for networking the project with the AI community and SMEs on a national and European level. AKI is also responsible for making the project visible and communicating project results to stakeholders and interested parties from industry, science, politics and the general public.
