As the public service media company of North Rhine-Westphalia, Westdeutscher Rundfunk enriches the lives of the approximately 18 million people in the state – with real experiences, quality journalism and inspiring programmes.

Co-developing innovative technologies

WDR will try out language models in everyday life and sound out what benefits they have for use in the media library and audio library, to support journalistic work and in the multimedia production process. Their aim is to co-develop and use innovative technologies as quickly as possible and directly for the benefit of their programme.
